Stephen Craigie, Newcastle racked up his 6th successive triumph in the English Premier Junior Tour to end the season unbeaten winning the final event at North East Derbyshire SC, Clay Cross beating Nick Jennings, Winchester on the black.

Newly crowned PIOS winner Jack Lisowski, Gloucester will play Leo Fenandez, London in the English Amateur Final at the EASB Finals weekend this Sunday.

Adam Wicheard, Trowbridge defeated Adam Duffy, Sheffield 6-4 to win the 3^rd and final event, English Pro Ticket Tour, Woking SC, Surrey to lead the rankings with the English Amateur last 32 points still to be added.

Salisbury′s Mark Green has regained his place on the EASB Premier Junior Tour.

Stephen Craigie won the first event of the EASB Pro Ticket Tour Stage Two, Newcastle defeating Kuljesh Johal, Huddersfield 6-3 in the final, Northern SC, Leeds.

The first stage of the English Pro Ticket Tour 2009/2010 has now been completed the top 16 in each section after Event 4 will compete in three more events, Leeds, Leicester and Woking to find the first WSA English nomination for next season.

Three former winners of the English Seniors event are through to the last 16, March 28th at a venue to be confirmed after a healthy entry of 46 players competed at three clubs in Round Robin phase and one final knockout round.

Shane Castle, 11, has chalked up a monster 137 break on the EASB Premier Junior Tour just hours after his coach said he "could do better".

Seven venue’s for this seasons EASB English Amateur Championship whittled the 177 entrants to last 16 North and South to be played on May 1st and 2nd at Northern SC, Leeds and a Southern club yet to be announced.

The first snow of the winter mainly in the East slightly affected attendances at Event 3 where all the five Zone winners hit the top of their respective rankings with Mark Green, Salisbury making the highest break 106.

Stephen and Sam Craigie, Newcastle tightened their domination of English Premier Junior Tour clashing in the brothers 2nd successive final, Stephen capturing Event 4,
Woking SC, Surrey with a 4-2 verdict over his younger sibling.

Kuldesh Johal, Huddersfield on the Main Tour last season defeated ex pro Jamie O’Neill, Wellingborough 5-3 to win Event 3 from 55 players to lead the regions rankings.

Last season Under 14 Champion Oliver Lines led the way at his home and sponsors venue Northern SC with the best group average 2.7 winning nine of his ten frames and a 3-0 win over Alexander Strettle to reach the last 16.

This seasons EASB finale is again spread over the May Bank Holiday and features a number of established International players some exciting youngsters and former English Finalists.

The top 3 players in each region are promoted to the Premier Junior Tour set 48 field next season the next three in each area rankings compete for the remaining spaces made available mainly through age (Under 21) on June 6th.

128 players took part in the overall tour a review of the numbers will take place through the summer with possibly a further spilt in the regions due to the events continuing success.

North – Northern SC, Leeds Sanderson Lam, Leeds made home advantage count by winning the regions 4th Regional Junior Tour defeating Sean Pritchard, Preston in his 2nd series final 2-0. Midlands – Willie Thorne SC Shahrukh Nasir, Birmingham and Nikolas Charalambous, Newmarket are also almost promoted to the PJT next season, Nasir defeated Lewis Mayes, Laindon 2-1 in a late final in Leicester to win his 2nd title on the pink. South – Riley’s, Plymouth Consistent Lawrence Oliver, Milton Keynes has taken over at the top of the rankings defeating the home towns Michael Grinstead a quarter finalist in the previous three events in his first final 2-1.

Reanne Evans dominated the opening event of the English Ladies Tour, Northern SC, Leeds played on the final day of the Pro Ticket Tour crushing Katie Henrick 3-0 in the final.

NORTHERN SNOOKER CENTRE ENGLISH UNDER 19 SNOOKER CHAMPIONSHIP Eighty players battled through to the last 16 in the English Under 19 Snooker Championships sponsored by Northern SC, Leeds at three venues. The last 16 will be played on Saturday 3rd May in Leeds the draw being made on the day with eight Internationals left in the field competition to reach the final 17th-18th May promises to be fierce.
