Tim Dunkley - UK Reports

Tim Dunkley is a World Snooker coach based at Chandler’s Ford Snooker Club, near Southampton, Hampshire.
If you need help with your game, you can book a coaching session with Tim by visiting our coaching section.
As well as being press officer for the World Ladies Billiards & Snooker Association and the South of England Cuestars, Tim also writes the Southern Daily Echo’s Saturday snooker page and he contributes to sotonsnooker.com (which covers cue sports in the Southampton area)
He has his own blog on the Daily Echo website and his own website.
Over the last few years, Chandler’s Ford SC has made a name for itself on the national stage. Current England internationals Shane Castle, Billy Castle, Nick Jennings and Jordan Winbourne are all products of its junior section. And, not forgetting, Suzie Opacic, one of the country’s finest women players.
We think Tim is going to be a great asset to Maximumbreak and wish him all the success in this snooker section.

Owens Wins Ladies Championship
THERE can be no more elegant sight in sport than ladies snooker and there can be no more elegant sight in ladies snooker than Paula Owens doing what she does best. And last Friday, at Chandler’s Ford Snooker Club, Paula demonstrated pure skill and determination to win her first ever tournament. The new queen of the green baize was “over the moon” after being crowned ladies champion 2006. Afterwards she put her success down to the strict FAB (fags and booze) training programme especially designed for her by the coaches at the club.
