Malcolm Thorne - EASB Reports

MALCOLM THORNE

It is with great sadness that we have learnt today (Monday 17th January) of the death of Malcolm Thorne.

Malcolm had been suffering with Cancer for quite a while, but carried on until shortly before Christmas as the EASB Media Officer, producing reports on all of the EASB events that were read by thousands around the world.

Malcolm was a former EASB Chairman and Director, and had managed the England team on numerous occasions in the past, and was a well known and much loved figure in the Snooker community.

He will be sadly missed by everyone at Maximumbreak and English Snooker plus many other's who knew Malcolm, and our sincere condolences go to his friends and family at this time.

You can see reports located in the results -> EASB section that Malcolm wrote for Maximumbreak and English Snooker.

He was dedicated to the very end, a true star of snooker
