I have been playing chess in a club for almost 30 years, I first watched snooker on the tv and was absolutly fascinated by the game. The strategical and tactical possibilities of this game are immense, combinated with the eye-hand-coordination its the most difficult game I know.
Now I'm a member of the Cologne Snooker Club and play and watch the tournaments as often as I can.

I will be writing articles for Maximumbreak on german snooker which will hopefully give members of the site an insight into how popular the game has become in recent years.

We feel that Gerhard is going to be a great asset to Maximumbreak and we are sure our german members will be able to get some good information from this section of the site, we all wish him all the very best of success in this snooker section.
